We are delighted to welcome Laura Seary to both the Willis Street Physiotherapy and Wellington Sports Med team.

Laura graduated from the Brunel University London with a BSc in Physiotherapy in 2011.  She has since worked in a number of varied environments, gaining a broad knowledge of musculoskeletal injuries and their treatment.

Laura started her career working as an exercise rehabilitation instructor for the British Army, then moved to a busy London hospital to complete her rotations in a number of medical areas, then spending a year specialising in trauma orthopaedics. Following that Laura worked for 18 months in private practise before spending the latter half of 2015 working as a Physiotherapist with the Ministry of Defence which consolidated her passion for exercise based rehabilitation.

Laura has a specific interest in sports injuries and rehabilitation, treating using a variety of techniques including manual therapies, taping, acupuncture and exercise prescription to ensure a quick recovery.

Laura has recently moved to Wellington from the UK. Laura is a keen sportswoman; having competing in athletics, rowing and most recently road cycling. She is looking forward to the cycling opportunities that Wellington has to offer.
