Welcome to the team Elaine Pollard

Born and bred in the Emerald Isle of Ireland, Elaine attended boarding school from the age of 12-18.

She lived in Scotland from the age of 18-21 and gained her BSc (HONS) in Physiotherapy from the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen Scotland.

Elaine completed an elective placement in NZ in her 3rd year as a physio student and fell in love with this beautiful country and its inspiring people.

Elaine has five years experience working in private practice as a musculoskeletal/occupational and rehab therapist.

Special interests include neurodynamics, injury prevention, post-operative optimal recovery and the sporting shoulder.

Elaine is currently studying towards her masters in sports physiotherapy through the University of Otago.

Elaine is a keen hockey player, triathlete and mountain biker. She has completed 2 x half ironmans and is currently training for the Tarawera Trail Marathon in November. Her aim is to complete a full ironman the following year. She is a new member of WoRM and SQUADRUN- the Wellington running groups. She also plays cricket in the summer and gets out on her snowboard whenever she can.
