Joanna graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Otago in 2013.
She began working as a physiotherapist at Lower Hutt Hospital completing her rotations before spending a year working in the Emergency Department and musculoskeletal outpatients. Here she treated a wide range of chronic and acute conditions.
In additional to this Joanna has experience as a sport medic for the University of Otago Rugby and Miramar Rangers soccer teams.
As a practitioner for Willis Street Physio Joanna can be found at the Victoria University Kelburn clinic as well as rest homes in the Wellington region as an aged care Physiotherapist.
Joanna uses a range of treatment technique including exercise prescription, manual therapy and taping techniques and draws on her diverse experience across different physio roles to treat and prevent the re-occurrence of injuries.
Outside of work Joanna enjoys being active, as a keen hiker and long distance runner.
